Texture, grain, color, pattern, repetition, space, movement, and the ability to describe, are the basic elements of the project. The garments are not only an interpretation of these physical attributes but also a depiction of my relationships with twelve important individuals. It is through the varied experiences that I have shared with these individuals that I was inspired to create a visual representation of our friendship. Drawing on my relationships as an extension of my creativity I have attempted to build a visual understanding of the most important aspects of my life. My interpretation is displayed through a collection of wearable sculpture or clothing designs.
